The Woodhall School

MONTROY served as Architect for the Woodhall School’s new STEM Lab.  The STEM Lab is the first step in a larger Master Plan for the school which MONTROY helped to develop.  After considering many different locations, and opportunities for future campus expansion, the STEM lab was built to replace an existing math wing, which was in desperate need of repairs.  The new STEM lab and math wing were oriented toward the campus entry and overlook a nearby pond – serving as the first glimpse of the campus for new students and parents.  In total the addition is approximately 800 SF, all classrooms feature clerestory windows letting in natural light, an improvement overall to the small and cramped spaces of the original building’s rooms.
