Mark Vella, RA, AIA

Project Director / Project Architect

A graduate of Pratt Institute, Mark has been a part of the industry for twenty-two years and a part of Montroy for 19. In that time, he has become a valued Project Architect, bringing his expertise to myriad projects, including the gut renovation of a new campus in the Bronx, redesign of nearly 4,000 units in Stuyvesant Town, the repositioning and upgrading of multiple downtown NYC properties. Mark draws his inspiration not only from architecture, but from different environments and especially from the people within them. A practiced chef, he enjoys creating and sharing good food with others- friends, clients, and coworkers alike. A native-born New Yorker who is semi versed in both Spanish and Italian, Mark has spent portions of his life in Miami as well as studying abroad in Italy, and he uses these experiences to aid him in his architectural pursuits. This collection of wisdom, along with his affable nature, makes Mark an invaluable member of any project team.
